TRY A DIVE is the perfect way of experiencing scuba diving if you've always fancied the idea but never really had the opportunity.

Why not Try A Dive with Island Watersports during your holiday and discover the fascinating underwater world of Lanzarote.

For absolute beginners we are able to offer a choice of two safe and enjoyable programmes to introduce you to the world of scuba diving - and, who knows, perhaps after your first experience you may decide to go on and complete a certification course with us during your stay which will enable you to go scuba diving anywhere in the world!

The ISLAND WATERSPORTS INTRODUCTORY DIVE is perfect for those who have always wanted to try scuba diving. You will be thoroughly briefed by us on everything you need to know to have a safe and fun first scuba dive in the clear waters which surround our beautiful island. Your instructor will be with you the entire time ensuring you have an enjoyable experience. The cost is 60 Euros and is inclusive of all equipment and the IWS certificate.

The PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING programme is ideal for those who may be considering becoming a qualified diver. After watching an introductory video outlining the basic principles of scuba, you will then receive an additional briefing by us on four simple exercises that we will carry out at the beginning of the dive. Following this, you will be guided on a safe and enjoyable dive under the direct supervision of your instructor. The cost is 80 Euros and includes all equipment, certificate and registration with PADI.

After your first thrilling underwater experience you can then take part in a follow-up dive or, maybe you will want to enrol on the 3 days SCUBA DIVER COURSE, 5 days PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE, or 5 days BS-AC OCEAN DIVER COURSE, all of which will provide you with an internationally recognised diving qualification.
