Diving Insurance

In accordance with Spanish law (B.O.E. n° 280, 22nd November 1997, Ministerio de Formento) it is mandatory that all divers have a diving medical and a personal accident and third party liability insurance.

If you are unable to provide proof of insurance then we are able to provide immediate cover on your behalf.

Remember that most specialist diving insurance companies will provide a warranty in their policies that it is a fundamental requirement that recreational sport diving activities are carried out in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations for safe diving practices as laid down by your certifying agency (e.g. BS-AC, CFT, PADI, SAA, SSI etc).

This is of paramount importance with regard to the depths that you intend to dive to.

Lanzarote has a hyperbaric chamber authorized by the Ministry of the Canary Islands and it is located in a hospital in the capital.
